Review
GREASE is such an extraordinary musical, but it does capture the spirit and nostalgia of the 1950s for which the film was set. The makers including director Randal Kleiser and choreographers did an incredible job for this slick movie and it does have great acting by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and energetically choreographed songs like "Summer Nights", "Grease Lightning" and my favourite "You're the One That I Want".

Forget its sequel GREASE 2 and the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movies as they walk in the shadow of the original masterpiece. GREASE will always be the word as my favourite singing and dancing feature of all time and the best.

Star rating: (5/5) Best Movie Ever

  1. I really can't stand watching most musicals but I have always wanted to see this one since I love 50s music like Chuck Berry.
