I have always known that PROMETHEUS was definitely a prequel to the ALIEN movies, especially the first one (click here), because it figured out some of the answers that weren't revealed in the series including the Space Jockey. It's a shame that PROMETHEUS' story was complicated, there were highlights of the sci-fi picture that I would give praise to is its spectacular visuals, impressive landscape shots as well as its magnificent acting performances like Michael Fassbender for his portrayal as the android David.

Although the whole film of PROMETHEUS was not quite the strongest comeback for director Ridley Scott who helped define the science-fiction genre for which he had now returned to helm, but it sure was scary and terrifying and it will be a delight for the fans of either Ridley's features or the ALIEN franchise.

Star rating: (4/5) Good Movie
