In a happy suburban

neighbourshidden deep
beneath this home is a vast
secret hideout. Surrounded
by an army of mischievous
little minions called Minions,
we discover Gru planning
the biggest heist in the
history of the world.

He is going to steal the moon
(Yes, the moon!). Gru
delights in all things wicked.
Armed with his arsenal of
shrink rays, freeze rays, and
battle-ready vehicles for land
and air, he vanquishes all
who stand in his way.
That is, until the day he
encounters the immense will
of three little orphaned girls
who look at him and see
something that no one else

Review
I never imagine that DESPICABLE ME is such a bouquet to the other great animated comedies, but it doesn't turn the tables from making this a movie very much alike for its own personality. It has some inspiration of humour coming it out from the Looney Tunes shorts and featuring rare heartfelt moments that could have come from a Pixar film. I praise Steve Carell's amazing performance as Gru and the hilarious parts including where Gru attempts to break into Vector's home, Dr Nefario shows Gru his two new inventions and the tiny toilet scene involving Vector.

DESPICABLE ME is a terrific and hilarious animated movie that is released in both 2D & 3D and has plenty of laughs and heart that will amaze children and will please the adults.

Star rating: (4/5) Good Movie

  1. The Minions were the best part of Despicable Me! They were the ones who everyone laughed at most, since they had a completely different language (although it sounded like Spanish and other languages mixed). Yes the Minions played a great part of the movie. I rented the movie from Blockbuster and I absolutely loved it! I know that right now, Blockbuster has a promotion going on where you can receive unlimited movie rentals for free in Blockbuster stores through July 4th! When you rent a Blockbuster movie that's priced at $2.99, you can rent another movie that is priced at $1.99 or less free for the first day! Whenever you are done watching the free movie, return to the Blockbuster store as much as you want to another free rental through July 4th. As a customer and employee of DISH Network, I also know that if you switch to DISH Network, you can get 3 months of Blockbuster free! You get movies like Despicable Me and thousands of others! I suggest going to http://goo.gl/wuMrN to get all the information!
